For their 25th Anniversary, Hells Honkies Tape
Club put together a DAT Tree retrospective of some of the best and most
influential bands from the San Francisco live music scene in the late 60s.
The source were a number of reel-to-reel tapes of incomplete shows and other
notable content. The quality is definitely analog, and definitely very nice.
These are the bands that drove the next two generations of live acts, including most of what we listen to today.
